His greatest architectural works, built before World War I, belong to what was then a radical movement in American architecture, now called the Prairie School. WebAug 8, 2024 · Klutho was inspired by a 1905 visit with Frank Lloyd Wright to use Prairie School language in some of his work, including that of his own house. At one time, the city had a concentration of such Wright-inspired buildings, and Klutho’s friend, architect Robert Broward, worked to save those remaining until his death in 2015.
