WebHistory Grad student here I take a lot of notes and I honestly do both written and typed (which may be time consuming but hear me out) I take paper notes but I short hand them (if you don’t know how to short hand def learn) I don’t have time to sit here and read my notes all the time to study so when I short hand it forces me to actually listen to my prof. WebOf course, some professors/instructors are better than others, but if you are in a grad program odds are the person teaching the material is a master of that field.
