WebIf linguistic relativity does NOT exist (at least to the degree of the Sapir-Whorfian claims), I have a hard time swallowing explanations as to why we need to preserve dying languages. I agree that it's extremely worthwhile to save the CONTENT of these languages (documents, histories, stories, enscriptions, etc).
